Conforming from a fearful mind

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will. “ Romans 12:2

My journey away from fear has led me closer to my faith into a holistic approach on being a better me. As the scripture stated to not be conformed to this world I allowed myself to not let the fear of this world expectations consume me. Once I was able to run away from that which was hindering me and having me to surrender my progress to mess this process helped me release a lot of stress. Below is a model that I discovered as I wrote my book on replacing the addictions.

“Spiritual Psychology is a technology – a process that results in experiencing greater connection to who you are, your life’s path, and enhanced levels of fulfillment. Within the framework of our work together, I utilize and foster between us a tool and technique called Transparent Communication through which awareness is cultivated. Together we uncover and explore the dynamics of how your thought patterns, relationships, and daily experience are affected, often in limiting ways, by the unresolved patterns in consciousness and how this is influencing the various aspects of your life. Health and Healing are ultimately both dependent upon your Consciousness, and through building greater awareness of your bodily, emotional, and mental experiences, you create an opening – a window – where more Presence permeates your life. That Presence, which is beyond a mental concept and experienced as greater than your sense of limited self, may be called Life Force, or Spirit, or Universal Energy, or True Self, among many other ‘essential’ names.”

This presence I discovered was the power of God that moves to guide me with holistic healing. The part we have to keep in mind is the unresolved patterns in consciousness that can be empowered by the renewing of the mind. The bible states

" When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, "Do you want to get well?" John 5:6

The point is I wanted to made holistically well and in this healing process I was able to replace my fear with my faith. I had been in this condition a very long time but when my consciousness open to the possibility of being free of what was binding me I surrender my will and in this process I was made whole. I lived a life where I was afraid to reflect on the patterns, relationships, and daily experiences that was causing me to lack the confidence to be all that I was created for. Once I got tired of the routine and discovered a reason and method to become a better me I took the opportunity and have been enjoying it.
