The word develops faith which produces a seed that will always meet our needs. The seed contains the necessary components that develop in our lives. Question we have to ask ourselves daily is what seeds are we allowing to be deposited in our lives? Is it the seed of faith or fear?
In order to increase our faith we have to understand the purpose of faith. Faith purpose is to help us tackle the challenges in life. These challenges of our faith works on us not reaching our goals. Now if we allow fear to overwhelm us with a lot of stress of “What if’s” “Why me” instead of fear of not doing the Lord’s will with our creative ability than we live a life of instability. Faith generates hope and fear produces dread.

Faith and spirituality provide a sense of purpose, allow people to connect to something greater than themselves, and enable us to release control. The steps to increase faith is realized in Matthew 13: 18-24
18 “Listen then to what the parable of the sower means: 19 when anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart. This is the seed sown along the path. 20 The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. 21 But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. 22 The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful. 23 But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.”
Therefore it is important to realize the significance of valuing the word of God which is the seed that is necessary to produce faith in the evil day. The above scripture directs us on how to value the word of God that is the seed that will always meet our needs.
First, we must seek to understand the word through prayer, meditation and fighting to hear what the spirit is saying not what man is portraying.
Second, develop a foundation that’s deep enough that it is hid in the mind so we want sin against God.
Third not allow the worries of this life and deceitfulness of this world to cause fear to choke the seed of faith.
Fourth, remember that our purpose on this planet is to be fruitful and multiply our dreams through the creative ability that comes from our seed of faith.
Fifth, important step of all is to hear through attending to by paying attention and consider what is or has been said.
These are steps that will increase our faith and get us to the point where we are living in faith and not in fear.
