Separating light from darkness

February 26, 2017

How do we walk away from doubt and really act on what our dreams are about? What does successful performance look like when we are staring fear of change in the face? What do we do if we stumble in the race? Susan Biali in her blog mentions how to use fear to our advantage.

"By the time the fear subsides, it will be too late. By the time you're not afraid of what you              were planning to start/say/do, someone else will have already done it, it will already be said          or it will be irrelevant. The reason you're afraid is that there's leverage here, something that          might happen. Which is exactly the signal you're looking for."

So instead of doubting and questioning our performance let’s not be in denial of the fact that we can enjoy success and run away from mess. We must take advantage of the moment now and act on what we have decided to do, instead of waiting for a perfect time to make the dream a reality.  The way we approach the future is to take advantage of today. If we stumble just know that quitting is not final but getting up is a process that can help us learn from our mistakes. There is hope for a comeback if we rise but staying in the pit is what we should never do because it’s a way of saying we quit.

4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.                             Genesis 1:4

Darkness is the shadows of the unknown that is powered by the whispers of the past. The light comes from the understanding of past experiences and knowing that troubles don’t last always. Truly brighter days come from changing our ways. It’s time to separate our light from darkness by putting distance to our past and embracing our future as we act on our dreams now.
