A faith based conciousness

April 25, 2017

“Is anyone thirsty?

Come and drink—

even if you have no money!

Come, take your choice of wine or milk—

it’s all free!

2Why spend your money on food that does not give you strength?

Why pay for food that does you no good?

Listen to me, and you will eat what is good.

You will enjoy the finest food.

3“Come to me with your ears wide open.

Listen, and you will find life.

I will make an everlasting covenant with you.

I will give you all the unfailing love I promised to David.  (Isiaih 55: 1-3 NIV)

Faith does not make sense and many have problems with it and will never experience the results of having faith. How can something be denied that have not been tried?   Faith says that money is not needed. Yet, in this world money answers a lot of things. Faith says what the world need the believer does not need because God is the believers source and not money. Faith says that all forces of evil have to bow to its ability to make things happen out of nothing. It takes faith to accept that the world was created from nothing.

“The ideal of revelation is an expression of the claim of religious experience to truth. In a                 material sense, the idea of revelation is the basis of religious consciousness, ultimate truth           is related to religious consciousness in general but this relation is observed only in the                   individual.” (Faith at the intersection of history and experience: the theology of Georg by                 Brent A. R. Hege)

Faith must be established in the consciousness in  order for it to become a reality. If not it is defined and discussed as pie in the sky, mythical and mumble jumble. As stated in the previous paragraph the idea of revelation which is defined as a surprisingly good or valuable experience is what's needed to establish faith. This valuable experience is the basis of a faith based

consciousness that is not afraid to be led by the spirit of truth. Again the question is will the behavior be based off of fear or faith?
