How do we know if what we are told is the truth? What is the measurement tool that can be used to assess the validity of the instructions? In order to have a clear perspective on the accuracy of a statement or if we should use the advice to become a part of our behavior we need something that has a history of success for a comparison. The word of God fits that description. As Dr. King has stated this is the ultimate measure of a man where he or she stands at times of challenge of controversy. The belief in the accuracy of the statements will be tested through time which will give us an experience that is pleasant or unpleasant. Do we continue down the road of the experiences that are unpleasant? Are we so frustrated that we choose a different road to travel? If we choose to travel down a new road because of frustrating experiences than we need an accurate road map.
