Ebony stared out of her Condo and wondered who she could call to express the feelings that she was trying to ignore. Her boyfriend and her had broke up over some new religious awakening that Ebony felt like was in his head. She could not ignore that she needed some awakening now. All her friends had pretty much abandoned her when Kevin stole her heart. At that time she did not care if she didn’t have her friends that she remembered since the first days of kindergarten. Now she wished she had Danielle, and Shenelle the twins to joke with about these life issues. Maybe if she could call Rachelle or Robin they would understand where her heart was at, and how to put it back together again.
Unfortunately, the friendships became distant five years ago when she felt like her and her man could withstand anything together. Ebony did not anticipate a break up and a moving away by this man that stole her heart and broke her heart. As she sat staring out the window of her condo that use to have so much life, and her little Utopia
with her companion was shattered. This horrific event for her was right before Christmas which caused her to go up to Wisconsin where her mom had a bread and breakfast business, this was the perfect place to cry all her frustrations away. Then came the big let down, a job that felt like she did not do enough when she constantly went to work feeling like she had sold her soul to the devil The lesson plans that she did not agree with, the social and emotional curriculum that put more emphasis on socialization and not realization of children who could care less. Instantly, her head began to hurt and she decided to go to the gym in her building.
